So where do I begin with these two... I've known LaShonda and Maurio for some years now. It's great having industry colleagues however they have been even better friends. I must admit, initially I was a little nervous about doing their shoot. It's not everyday that I photograph fellow photographers. I came into our session wondering if they would enjoy the Tory Bass "experience" like my previous clients have often raved. Once the session began however it quickly became clear that they wanted to be treated like any other client. This included hearing my jokes (good and bad...LOL) to get natural reactions as well as my somewhat off the wall approach to get shots from time to time. Now to the session... We met in the heart of downtown Greensboro on a busy Saturday afternoon. Utilizing familiar backdrops like one of the city's most well known sites, The Carolina Theatre, we were able to maneuver through the crowd's without any issues. It was a pleasure capturing the love these two have for one another. They seemed to get lost in each other's presence and forget they were being photographed. Here are a few of my favorites from our session. Enjoy!
A few weekends ago, I had the opportunity to travel to Winston Salem, NC to photograph Jamara and Venny. Fall had recently began so this great couple requested beautiful Old Salem as their backdrop. The venue was perfect for the look they were going for. Nature's vibrant colors as well as warm temperature's made this session perfect. Congrats guys on your engagement and I wish you nothing but the best! Here are a few of my favorites from our time together. Enjoy!
Although it wasn't a football inspired session, we couldn't help but incorporate this couple's love for football (the Carolina Panthers to be specific) in at least one photo. #keeppounding :)
Earlier this wedding session, I had the privilege to travel to Raleigh, NC to photograph the wedding of LaTasha and Thomas. Our day began meeting everyone for pre wedding photos at the beautiful Courtyard Marriott. We then transitioned to their ceremony venue at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Raleigh, where they wed in front of close family and friends. Their wedding day ended at The Royal Banquet & Conference Center, where these two love birds danced the night away to tunes from the talented DJ Free. Congrats guys and I look forward to showing more from your day!
