To say that I enjoy working with couples on engagement sessions would be an understatement. These sessions allow me to really get to know my clients and vice versa. It was a pleasure photographing Erica and Rod a few months ago in Downtown Durham. We began our session at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park and wrapped things up at the American Tobacco Campus. My time with them was great! It's their wedding weekend and in just a few hours they will be tying the knot! Congrats guys! I look forward to capturing your day.
Next on our blog is a classic love story of two track athletes. As Willie prepared for his heat, he glanced in the stands for a brief moment. Little did he know, that would change his life forever. In the stands sat Christina, a fellow track athlete from another university. Being memorized, Willie knew he found his soulmate. Fast forward some time, these two love birds are preparing for one of the biggest moments in their life....their wedding day! Congrats guys, I look forward to capturing your "I Do's"!

After hearing Charlene and William's love story, one could easily walk away with a greater appreciation for love, fate and divine intervention. They exude a kind of joy that is infectious and a love for one another that is evident. I enjoyed our time walking through downtown Durham as we laughed, joked and got to know each other. Their wedding day is finally here and I'm excited to see them say their "I Do's". Congrats guys, I look forward to being a part of your big day!

I often say that being a photographer is a blessing. Doing what I love to do has enabled me to meet some great couples! Brittany and Marlon is couple that falls in line what why I love doing what I do. From the first time we met, I knew that they would be great. Their love for one another is evident, which for a photographer, makes our job very easy. It was refreshing photographing their chemistry! It is officially their wedding weekend and I look forward to capturing their "I Do's". Congrats guys!
Next on our blog is a great session with an awesome couple! When I first met Gabriella and Jeremy, I instantly knew that they were "my kind of couple". They are the type of couple that makes my job very easy! The interaction between the two of them is infectious and there's no denying the amount of love they have for one another. We decided to shoot at a common location for me, Tanger Bicentennial Gardens. As we walked the park, I had a chance to learn a lot about them and their love story. The time has come and it's wedding weekend for them. Congrats guys! I look forward to capturing your big day!
Another wedding season is upon us! What better way to celebrate than with a blog post! :) Last year, I had the privilege of photographing Lauren and Crandall in the heart of downtown Greensboro. Although Mother Nature threatened for the majority of the day, the rain held off just enough for us to enjoy our session. As we ventured through downtown, I was able to really get to know this great couple. It was a pleasure spending time with them and I look forward to documenting their Big Day this weekend at the luxurious Grandover Resort. Congrats on your engagment guys!

Although the majority of my portrait sessions involve engaged couples, I find it special when I get to photograph a husband and wife. I affectionately call these "I Still Do" sessions. It's something about a married couple's interaction with each other that leaves you wanting to know more about their love story. This is to be said about Shannon and Patrick. We roamed through the American Tobacco Campus discussing love, relationships and children. Throughout the session they engaged with each other as if they were the only people on the Earth. Their love for each other was evident. They were definitely a pleasure to work with! Here are a few of my favorites from our time together.
The holidays, for many, are for family, fun and traditions. For others, they are for making lasting memories. This is to be said for Robyn and Donta. They were engaged on Christmas day last year. As part of their engagement, they contacted me to document this great time in their lives. We met at Tanger Bicentennial Garden for our session. Although Mother Nature threatened during our session, we were able to wait out a brief storm and capture some amazing photos! Congrats on your engagement guys!
"When life hands you lemons, make lemonade..." On the days leading up to my session with Deana and Shay, the forecast previewed a slight chance of rain. Generally, forecasts such as this don't scare me (that much). However, on the day of our session, it seemed like Mother Nature had other plans. When I spoke with them about possibly rescheduling, I also threw out an idea of getting a little "creative". I convinced them that we could shoot in downtown Greensboro at the local Amtrak Station. Seeing this location many times, I often felt like it would be a great place to shoot. I was right, it was a perfect location for this couple and their outgoing personality. Congrats guys on your engagement. I wish the two of you nothing but the best!
I recently had the privilege of meeting up with my good friends LaShonda and Maurio for a special photo session at The High Point Theatre, in the heart of downtown High Point, NC. This great couple is celebrating 13 years of marital bliss! It's not often that you find a dynamic duo like these two. Also being industry professionals, they wear many hats. They are truly an inspiration, from their industry knowledge to the relationship gems they constantly give. As always, it was pleasure photographing them. Their chemistry and love for one another is undeniable. They made my job real easy! Happy Anniversary guys and I wish you a lifetime of happiness!
